Buy Handmade Art

That morning cup of coffee, in a handmade mug, goes from a menial obligation to wake up, to a moment of self care and retrospection before you start your day. Even if you are too tired to contemplate the intricacies of life, what you are holding was made by someone who had a dream.

By buying handmade, you are supporting a real person’s creative endeavors. Your money goes directly to the makers, creators, and artists, instead of large corporations.

Thank you for buying handmade, whether from myself, or another small business.

Why I Make Pots

Like a 90’s rom-com, I fell in love with ceramics in college.  Being a single mom, and knowing my children were watching, I had to follow my dream and try. However, this plot did not end in finding Mr. Right and suddenly becoming successful overnight.

A crap ton of student loan debt later, and working a corporate job to support myself and help put my children through college, my only goal now is to try and pay off that debt and be happy again doing what I love, even if it is only part time.
